Elise Crutzen (Maastricht, 1991) is an artist and writer. Based in Windsor Forest, her abstract, richly textured Earth Paintings embrace the strength and beauty of nature, bringing serenity, calmness, and purity to interiors. Elise's art arises through a completely organic process on custom-made, recycled denim canvases. She intentionally and respectfully collects her pigments during her travels. She draws inspiration from the countries she visits and also creates thematic and customised artworks, using local pigments that hold meaning for her clients. In addition to her passion for art, Elise is a writer and released her first illustrated poetry collection titled 'On My Way Home' in 2022. Currently she is working on her second book, to be released in 2023.
