Luberon, cinq

My largest Earth Painting so far is displayed at @lauthentique_venue in Echt (NL), together with the beautiful modular sofa Sem by @lauthentique.official.

'Luberon, cinq' measures 143 x 163 cm and is crafted naturally and intentionally from local ochre, rocks, and other mineral pigments that I sourced in the Luberon region of France last summer.

For this Earth Painting, I wanted to recreate the soft and dusty paths that remind me of the Luberon region. I also wanted to depict the language I observed on the large rocks alongside those paths, with scratches and other subtle marks of history on them—poems whispered among ancient rocks and minerals for millions of years.
